These kittens will be 12 weeks just after xmas...so we may consider early release xmas week if that suits our buyers. Or we can keep them until after new year if that is also suits buyers. (Early release maybe on 19/12 or 20/12) I will confirm this when they have been booked in for desexing.

Chocolate Brown Blue Lilac
Why buy your new kitten from registered breeder??? ALL kittens are sold with all this included desexed by registered vet, microchipped, and microchipping paperwork for transfer, litter trained- of course, vaccinations x2 and vaccination card, vet checked x2, wormed x3, copy of pedigree, we also include a sample bag of dry food & kitty litter- this makes the transition into your house that little bit easier. Kittens will NOT leave home before they are 12weeks of age. We give them time to recover from desexing and more time with their mum and also to have both vaccinations. Kittens that need to be flown to their new homes will not do so until they reach the age of 14 weeks- we do this so the kitten is that little bit older to be able to handle such an expedition on their own. We also take into consideration on the weather aswell- we will not fly kittens when temps are more than 35C- Its just too stressful for them.
Purebred kittens are like designer handbags. Sounds crazy but it's true. We all know that there is the authentic designer bag then there are the cheap knock offs. The real designer bags are hand crafted, made with care and attention to detail. They are good quality and you know you are getting what you pay for, the real thing! Cheap knock offs are slapped together in sweatshops from substandard materials. They appear similar to the real thing but look closely and it is clear they are just an imitation. Sadly they often dont last as long as the real deal because they are not well made.
It is the same with registered purebred kittens. A kitten from a registered breeder comes with a pedigree that proves it is the breed they say it is. Unregistered breeders just breed cats that look like the real thing. The only difference between kittens and designers bags (aside from the fur!) is that kittens from registered breeders dont cost more. In some cases they cost less especially when they have vaccinations, microchipping and desexing included in the price. Registered breeders follow the standards set by their asociations and breed for love not money.
So buyer beware. Dont make the mistake of buying your kitten from an unregistered breeder. Why have a cheap knock off when you can have the real thing?"
Costs
Why do breeders charge what they do for kittens??? If you know much about breeders- is definatley not about making money.... Its the love of the animals, perfecting the breed and temprament. As most breeders are well out of pocket by breeding, (and if they arn't forward me their number as i want to know their secret)- and thus the reason of the price of a kitten. This is not to make money, its merely to cover some expenses. (These expenses include HUGE amounts of cat litter, cat food-that i have to travel to melbourne for, wormers, heating their rooms in winter, cooling in summer, fees to our governing council, cat furniture, vet bills- oh the dredded vet bills- for vaccinations, desexing, microchipping- heaven forbid having a cat needing a c-section or getting sick. This is just an example of some of the costs!!)
Price for one pet kitten $500- Price for breeding kittens to registered breeders only-POA.
DO SOME RESEARCH.....- you will most likely find dearer or even cheaper kittens that dont offer the same services we do- some breeders choose not to desex- which by six months of age you would want done so your kitten cannot become pregnant or start roming, some choose to sell their kittens at 10 weeks with only having one vaccination- so if you add up all the costs- you will find our price very reasonable if not cheaper than some!!Our kittens are raised to the up most high standards that should be expected of a breeder. They do not venture outdoors(other than the outdoor enclosure) from the time they are born to the time you take them home. The constant interaction with them in their early stages of life really puts an impression on them, and we love to raise them true to the affectionate cats they are discribed as. Our kittens are fed high quality food, they eat raw beef mince-(that we get from melbourne), liver, supercoat kitten dry food and Royal Canin kitten dry, chicken necks and peices. We also give them a variety of canned fish- as we find that most kittens will go to homes where their owners would buy regular food from the supermarket for their kitten, so we introduce them to everything, we try not to let them be fussy eaters for when you take them home.
ABOUT RAISING AUDACE KITTENS
(Previous Audace kittens)
All Audace kittens are raised strictly indoors. We bring our kittens up with constant love and affection- true to burmese standards as they are one of the most affectionate cats I've ever known. Many children handle our kittens from day one and they have the run of an enclosure and do venture out and about thoughout our home. As I work from home my cats and kittens are never left in the house alone. They are not raised in a large cattery that is cut off from the house or in pens...We do it cos we love to. We have a couple of indoor enclosure/nurseries in the house where the kittens are born and raised, so they come and go from this as they please and have constant access to our house as our kids do. We also have an outdoor enclosure that is attached directly next to our house for the adult cats that has all day access so they come and go as they please.

We also use Oz-Pet cat litter- we are a stockist for this company. This cat litter is biodegradable and has longer lating odour control. We do sell this litter if you are interested in saving money on your cat litter. And it best used in conjuction with the sieve litter tray thats its designed for.... Its definatley much cheaper than any product in the supermarket- beilieve me Ive tried them all. And is much safer with the kittens and cats, especially when they lick themselves and ingest some particals- thats why we dont recommend the use of some clumping litters or crystals. So please ask us for the oz pet litter pack with your new kitten/s.
Sieve trays cost $45-$50 and a 20kg bag of litter is $25. If you take into account how much litter you will use- this is by far a superior product than any of the litters that you buy from the supermarket.
How do i order a kitten??
We do have a contacts list, we take your name, number and preference of sex and colour (if you have one). When the kittens reach the age of 4 weeks, we contact all on the list- according to order, and we let you know what we have to offer you, and then if you want to go ahead with the sale you will need to place a deposit with us. We were taking deposits before kittens were born, and we were finding people to be disapointed when we didnt end up with what they were looking for, so we have gone back to no deposits before 4 weeks of age.
The $100 deposit is required to hold a kitten after you have decided- we ask this due to people not returning our calls and emails, changing their mind, or have found a kitten ready sooner and not letting us know. We encourage new families to "get the right kitten for you" So if this means you want a certain sex and colour you can go on our wait list for this. You do need to remember that you will have this new addition for possibly 15 years or more. So we want you to be happy with your choice. Some people prefer the kitten to pick them- and others who cannot visit can choose through pictures- what ever the situation- you will not be disappointed!! We would like every new prospecting family to visit us where possible. This way we can get to know you and your situation that the new kitten/s will be introduced to. Visiting hours can be arranged to a time that is suitable to you and us. We understand if visiting is impossible- ie you live interstate. We are happy to answer any questions over the phone or by email. Photos can be emailed upon request if you need to choose in this way. We are happy for you to take the time to make your decision when you feel comfortable in doing so, however we cannot guarantee availabilty if you do not wish to place a deposit. PRICES ARE NOT NEGOTIABLE!!! Deposit is only refundable if we cannot accomodate you- ie colour.
ONE OR TWO?
Many people ask me is it better to buy one or two? I guess this comes down to your current situation. Ask yourself- are you away for long periods of time for work or school during the day? Are you home alot of the time? Do you have children? Other pets? I would always recommend two kittens/cats as companions. Whether they are from the same breed or same litter. Burmese need company, so whether it is you, your children or another pet it would always be nice for them as company. However in saying this, I had a burmese for many years on her own and she was the most affectionate cat i ever had, but she was never left home alone for very long. So its a very personal choice and one you need to make yourself.
